Behind the name Pineapple, lies a great story. A big challenge that we are conquering every day to raise a community that loves their natural hair and embraces that beauty.

How did it start?
It started with simple question:
“where can I take care of my curly hair in tunisia? I really wish there was a professional salon that i could confide in and give my hair to” - our cofounder
Why the name Pineapple?
A simple anecdote really! We call ourselves Pineapple because a curly haired person will hold their hair 80% of the time in a Pineapple
Why we founded our Studio?
In a nutshell, we got tired of not finding professional care for textured hair in our country! We also got tired of having to deal with the stereotypical question “do you want a straightening treatement?” the moment we step in a hair salon.
We also want to contribute in raising a fearless generation that is proud of their curls!
Start point:
Well, since we started from zero, we needed professional help and apprenticeship from curly expert! Our go to was Mrs Nancy Falaise, the number one curly expert in Canada and the owner of many salons across the world!
With her help and expertise, we were the firsts to bring the “curly hair experience” to Tunisia.
Giving back to the community:
The team behind our Brand is composed of different people who went through a remarkable journey of self acceptance and love! And this is what we seek to raise first in our community! We want you to love yourself and your curls! Through our social platform, our services and products, we are trying to make all the resources accessible for you in order to be able to embrace your natural beauty.
Our mission
Our mission is not limited to curly hair treatments only. We are aiming to be a platform that raises awareness towards difference and self acceptance. Our dream is to see each Tunisian embracing their natural beauty and being proud of it.
Through our resources we want to simplify the task of self care, we also want to remind our community that self care should be treated like a luxury and not a burden.
Our work:
Well, we are not limited to curly hair cuts and styling, we also have worked on many workshops that aim to help the community learn to assume their curly hair.
Our highlight for the moment: it’s easy to be curly workshop! With 4 editions, we try on each session to teach the parents on how to take care of their children’s hair and help them learn to love their curly hair.
Where are we now?
We are here in lac 2 in Tunis, we are also in Ennasr.
But we are also celebrating our new baby, the pineapple laboratory! The first dedicated laboratory for curly and textured hair.
With the collaboration with experts in green cosmetology we are developing cruelty free and green curly hair care products.
